Vendors are service providers who fulfill service orders for your port calls. PortTask helps you maintain a curated network of trusted vendors, track their performance, and ensure quality service delivery.
Each vendor profile includes company information, service offerings, certifications, and performance metrics based on completed work.
Add vendors to your network in these ways:
Go to Vendors > Add Vendor and fill in company details including name, contact information, services offered, and certification documents.
Browse the vendor marketplace to discover pre-verified vendors. Click "Add to Network" to invite them to work with your organization.
Generate an invitation link to send to vendors. They can register directly and join your network after approval.
Each vendor can offer multiple service types. When adding services to a vendor profile, you can specify:
Select which service categories the vendor provides (e.g., provisioning, bunkering).
Define which ports or regions the vendor operates in.
Optionally set base rates for services to help with budgeting and quotes.
Specify typical turnaround times for different service types.
PortTask automatically tracks vendor performance based on completed service orders:
Percentage of orders completed within SLA
Based on ratings and feedback
Average time to confirm orders
Orders completed vs cancelled

Control how vendors appear and who can access them:
Only visible to your organization. Best for exclusive partnerships.
Visible to organizations you invite. Good for preferred vendor networks.
Visible in the vendor marketplace. Open to all PortTask users.
