Glossary

Definitions for key terms and metrics used throughout the IntLiq platform.

AUM (Assets Under Management)

The total market value of all the underlying assets held by the tokenised protocol or fund. In IntLiq's methodology, higher AUM typically indicates deeper structural liquidity.

Primary Redemption

The process of burning or returning tokens directly to the issuer in exchange for the underlying fiat currency or collateral. IntLiq scores protocols based on how frequently this is allowed (e.g., Daily vs Monthly).

Secondary Volume

The trailing 7-day transaction volume of the token traded between parties on decentralized exchanges (DEXs) or centralized venues, distinct from primary issuance/redemption.

Tokenised Asset / RWA

Real World Asset. Traditional financial instruments (like US Treasuries, private credit loans, or real estate) that are represented as digital tokens on a blockchain.

Liquidity Tier

IntLiq's deterministic classification system (L1, L2, L3, ILLIQUID) that groups assets based on their total computed Liquidity Score.

Yield

The annualized percentage return generated by the underlying assets and passed on to token holders.

Smart Contract

Self-executing code deployed on a blockchain that governs the rules, transfers, and logic of the tokenised asset.
